At the Seminole Pro Tour finale at the Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida, Stevie Moore suffered an 8-5 loss against Gabe Owen. However, he managed to stay alive in the competition via an exciting hill-hill win over Shane Van Boening in the left-side final.
In the single-set finals, Stevie Moore proved to be unstoppable. Moore raced through racks and past Gabe Owen, closing out the set with an impressive 9-2 score to take the championship and the $10,000 first prize!
For billiards buddies and pool players not in the know, Moore entered the competition with just 45 points behind Corey Deuel. Corey finished fourth.
The win is Stevie Moore’s third of the year on the Seminole Pro Tour, and has earned him the No. 1 spot on the final points rankings for 2008. And I kid you not!
