DigitalFilipino.com Launches the 7th Philippines School CyberFair Project!

This just in! DigitalFilipino.com, now on its 7th year, is launching the 7th Philippines School CyberFair Project with the theme: "Learn and Unite". CyberFair competition/exhibition participants will complete in three tasks, i.e., publish, reflect, evaluate. Student-produced projects will focus on people, places, businesses and other things in their local community.

CyberFair is being touted as an opportunity to engage businesses, schools, and other youth organizations in educational activities aimed at heightening mutual awareness and understanding of their community history, leaders, issues, and needs.

All Philippine entries are encouraged to join the International School CyberFair, which is the largest educational event of its kind ever held on the Internet. The program has brought together more than one million students from over 109 countries.

CyberFair encourages youth to connect the knowledge they learn in school to real world applications. It also supports current education subjects, e.g., Filipino, English, Computer, Social Studies, Science, Music, Practical Arts, and Character Education.

Each school is limited to one entry, per category, per division (elementary/high school). All entries must be written and presented in English. Entries in Filipino are also encouraged! There's a special recognition for the best Filipino entry. And I kid you not!

For more info on the prizes, mechanics, and registration, please visit CyberFair and DigitalFilipino.com, the Philippines' premiere e-commerce research site founded by Philippine Schools Cyberfair Ambassador Janette Toral.
